To set up your NetSecrets internet dialup connection follow these instructions carefully and you should have no problems. If you do get stuck however give us a call on 01386 792972 and we'll talk you through the setup.

No two PC's are exactly the same and the differences between various versions of Windows can be quite substantial so we can't be sure of covering every eventuality but we do try! There is no monthly charge for use of this dialup but it does incur a per minute charge equivalent to a BT local call.

To create a new dialup account either: Click on "My Computer" on your desktop and then click on "Dial Up Networking" OR Click on "Start" then "Settings" then "Network and Dialup Connections" In either case you should then click on "Make New Connection" It will ask you about your modem, your method of connection and so forth. We have to assume you know what you have so you're on your own for this bit! It will eventually ask you to give a name to this dialup, call it what you like but "NetSecrets" might be a good choice!

It will ask you what phone number you want to associate with this dialup and the number is: 0845 028 5678 It will ask you to connect and will then ask you for your user name which is: netsecrets and a password which is: netsecrets That's it!

It should work first time but occasionally it seems to need two tries the first time round! If it doesn't work properly email us or call us and we'll try to sort it out.
