This page does not attempt to cover all aspects of WorldPay pricing which can be found within the individual product datasheets. Its aim is to summarise the key elements for the typical small to medium sized user. All prices quoted are for UK companies and exclude VAT. NB: Registered charities enjoy significant discounts on WorldPay products, contact us for more information. Details as follows: WorldDirect : this is the basic merchant account service that you must have before adding other services. There is a one-off setup fee of £100 and an annual fee of £160. This is payable up front. There is a transaction fee of 4.5% of transaction value for credit cards and a fixed transaction fee of 50p, irrespective of tranaction value, for debit cards. In addition there is a fee of 6p per transaction to cover the antifraud system WorldAlert. This 6p is waived if you pay the extra fee for the enhanced protection option, WorldPay Guarantee. FuturePay : this service enables you to schedule future payments, e.g. monthly and quarterly subscriptions.There is a one-off setup charge of £100 for FuturePay. Transaction fees are not affected. WorldAccess: provides a web based control panel for manual input of transactions, e.g. telephone sales. There is a one-off setup charge of £100 for WorldAccess. Transaction fees are not affected. Additional Currencies: WorldDirect accepts payment in 3 currencies, commonly UK Pound, US Dollar & Euro. Additional currencies can be added for a one-off setup charge of £50 per currency. WorldPay Guarantee : this provides additional protection against fraudulent transactions and insurance against chargebacks. There is a fixed charge of £20 per month for this plus a transaction charge of 1% (or more depending on detailed analysis of requirement). Settlement & Remittance Charges : money due to you from transactions is normally paid to your bank account once a week, four weeks in arrears. If your bank account is in the UK you are charged 35p for each remittance. Other charges apply if your account is not in the UK and/or in any currency other than UK Pounds. Chargebacks : these occur when a transaction is reversed, whci can be for a variety of reasons, e.g. fraudulent use of a card or customer claim that goods were not delivered. There is a standard charge of £10 per chargeback on top of the value of the transaction. Note that WorldAlert reduces the risk of this occurring and WorldPay Guarantee protects you against any losses that do arise up to £250 per transaction. |
